The Sôgmô has publicly announced that það will voyage to Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland, in January 2017. Þess voyage to Iceland will be both a private vacation and a public visit to the Icelandic capital, where það will visit Háskólinn Íslands — the academic seat of current Icelandic President and History Professor Guðni Jóhannesson — and the recently completed temple of the Ásatrúarfélagið. The journey will be taken with private friends and micronational counterparts alike, including Mercian Lord Spiritual Richard Hytholoday.
The Sôgmô and the Lord Spiritual will observe a joint religious service similar to that enjoyed by því and the Überstadti king’s official visit to Sandus in July 2014, which Sandum media will broadcast. The visit takes place on the occasion of Þorrablót, a cultural Icelandic holiday and a blót dedicated to the god Thor, which the Sôgmô plans to observe while in the city.
