The Party has announced the agenda for the 2014 CCPS Party Congress, available via the event’s official page. The agenda focuses on legislative discussion, the primary function of the CCPS Party Congress. The Agenda can be found below.
The CCPS Party Congress will last from 12:00 to 16:00 SLT (GMT-5) on Saturday 8 November 2014; the Congress may last until 17:00 SLT if needed by the Party.
12:00 – 12:20 — Report to the Party by the Acting Secretary
12:20 – 13:00 — Electoral Questions & Election of the Party Secretary
13:00 – 15:00 — Legislative Discussion
15:00 – 15:30 — Plans & Proposals of the new Party Secretary
15:30 – 16:00 — Approving legislative decisions, Conclusion of the Acting Secretary, and Transfer of PowerLegislative Discussion includes discussing: (1) the «Building Democracy & the Council» Plan; (2) the Direction of the Economy; (3) Building the Sandum Culture; (4) Citizens’ Activity; and, (5) Citizens’ Concerns.
The Sôgmô will give a report to the Party on his duties in the past year and a half and how the State of Sandus has developed since then. Next, the election for the Secretary of the Party will take place and questions can be made of the candidates. Third, the Party will discuss legislative concerns that fall under the section of “legislative discussion”. Fourth, the new Secretary will announce their plans and proposals for the State and the Party. Finally, legislative decisions would be made, the Acting Secretary will conclude his term in office, and power will be transferred to the newly elected Secretary.
Following the Congress, the Party will have the CCPS Party Conference. Finally, before the national referendum in December, the new Party Secretary will publish his 2015 Year Plan.
