The State of Sandus and the Daikoku Federation have signed a more comprehensive treaty than the older Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation. The new treaty includes three more clauses on regular meetings between heads of government, respect for territorial sovereignty and security, and future projects of cooperations between the two states.
The text of the treaty is below.
TREATY OF FRIENDSHIP, COOPERATION AND RECOGNITION
BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENTS OF THE
DAIKOKU FEDERATION AND THE STATE OF SANDUS
The Daikoku Federation and the State of Sandus have decided to conclude this present Treaty in accordance to the principles of mutual respect of state sovereignty and territorial integrity, mutual respect for internal affairs, mutual non-aggression and mutual assistance, development and support.
The Presidency of the Daikoku Federation and the Sôgmô of the State of Sandus have agreed to the following provisions.
ARTICLE 1
The Daikoku Federation and the State of Sandus shall exercise mutual assistance, development and support between each other.
ARTICLE 2
The Daikoku Federation and the State of Sandus shall neither resort to violence, threat of violence nor take measures which shall put pressure on the other state.
ARTICLE 3
The Daikoku Federation and the State of Sandus shall solve any differences and issues that may arise between the two states through peaceful means.
ARTICLE 4
The Daikoku Federation and the State of Sandus shall be committed to the maintenance of peace and security.
ARTICLE 5
The Daikoku Federation and the State of Sandus shall not interfere with the internal affairs of each other.
ARTICLE 6
The Daikoku Federation and the State of Sandus shall respect each other’s choice for political, economic, social and cultural development.
ARTICLE 7
The Daikoku Federation and the State of Sandus shall establish diplomatic relations with each other.
ARTICLE 8
The Daikoku Federation and the State of Sandus shall recognize the government of the other state and shall recognize its sovereignty over its territories.
ARTICLE 9
The Daikoku Federation and the State of Sandus shall recognize the territories of the other state and shall not claim or violate the territories of the other state.
ARTICLE 10
The Daikoku Federation and the State of Sandus shall not enter into an alliance or take action that would compromise the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of the other state.
ARTICLE 11
The Daikoku Federation and the State of Sandus shall not allow another state or organizations to use its own territory to compromise the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of the other state.
ARTICLE 12
The Daikoku Federation and the State of Sandus shall engage in regular meetings in order to keep each other informed on the current situation of the other state, to exchange views on the diplomatic relations between the two states and to discuss issues of interest to both states.
ARTICLE 13
The Daikoku Federation and the State of Sandus shall engage in cooperation in state building and other areas of common interest.
