The Office of the Sôgmô has announced the annual LGBT Pride Week dates. LGBT Pride Week shall last de XXIII ad XXIX Iunio (23 – 29 June), lasting from the Monday before the 45th anniversary of the Stonewall Revolution on XXVIII Iunio (28 June) to the Sunday following the occasion.
LGBT Pride Week is an annual holiday in Sandus commemorating LGBTQ activism and politics held on the occasion of the Stonewall Revolution, riots that took place in Greenwich village in New York City in 1969. Stonewall is the event that catalysed the LGBTQ civil rights and liberation movement. Sandus has celebrated the annual LGBT Pride Week since MMXII (2012) in order to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, its achievements, and its movement.
