Ave, Sandum Citizens!
The State of Sandus has purchased the Sandus.org domain and has established plans for a national website on XIII Martio (13 March). Much work has been performed by the Sôgmô in renovating the new State website and in including necessary and accessible information, and the website is expected to be completed by XXVI Maio MMXIV (26 May 2014), the fifth anniversary of the Creation of Sandus.
The new State of Sandus website takes over the website for Veritum Sandus, which is not confined to a page dedication to the official journal on the new website. The rest of the website is now divided into four other pages: About Sandus, a set of pages with information about Sandus; Central People’s Government, a central portal for information and business of important State organs and important policies; Foreign Relations, a page concerning Sandus’s partners, allies, and Socilivançae and Sandus’s diplomatic policies; Citizenship, a site with information on laws concerning citizenship and how to apply to become a Sandum citizen.
Veritum Sandus shall include an information about Veritum Sandus and other print media in Sandus and shall also include an archive of Veritum Sandus articles, sorted by date and subject.
About Sandus will include three sub-pages: About Sandum Culture, About Sandum History, and About the State. Culture shall focus on the Philosophy, important Political theories (Libera, Realism, and Philia), Holidays, Media in Sandus (Veritum Sandus and Channum Unum), and possibly more future sub-pages — including visual arts, clothing, food, et cetera. History will be a sole page concerning Sandum history, divided by constitutional regime and with important epochs in Sandum State history. About the State will include a sub-page about the Founding Law, one more about the Structure of Government, and a final sub-page on the Sandum Republic (i.e., the Dual Definition).
The Central People’s Government portal will be sorted into important State organs — from the Office of the Sôgmô, the Party, and the Cooperatives and Authorities/Institutions — and important policies, programs, and projections of the State of Sandus. The Office of the Sôgmô sub-page shall include information on the Bureau of the Treasury (possibly to be generalised into “Bureaux” in their entirety), Liaisons, Provinces, and the how to Petition and the procedure for doing so. The CCPS page will include information on the Party, its management, and the Congresses. Cooperatives will include information on the Collegio Sacerdae and Tellus Agrarian Cooperative — including their founding edicts, their missions, and their management. Authorities and Institutions will include the inactive authorities on language and culture, as well as the institutions of higher education in Kremlum Sandus: the State College and the State Press. The Policies, Programs, and Projects page will include information on Cultural Development, the 2015 Economic Goal, the All-Citizens United Plan, a link to the Foreign Policy section on the Foreign Relations page, information on the Council (possibly to be included as a sub-page in its own right), and the building of infrastructure in Sandus.
The Foreign Relations sub-page will include important Foreign Policy in Sandus, information on Socilivae States, and Virtual Representation (such as on Second Life, with Sande Amici or “Friends of Sandus”).
Citizenship will include information on the different distinctions of Sandum citizenship, the different rights afforded to each, and how to apply to become a citizen.
Work is expected to be completed by late Maio (May), when Sandus celebrates its fifth anniversary of independence as a sovereign state.
Congratulations!
