Ave, Sandum Citizens!
As of this evening, this State has purchased a Minecraft server. Purchased by the Sôgmô with the intent of advancing Sandum culture in terms of Philia, the Sôgmô has begun preparations on a large capital region on the server. Various “regions”, or provinces, are being planned and, although the intended membership of the server is meant to be low, the Central People’s Government is hoping for increased interest from Sandum citizens.
The server is intended to spark renewed interest and activity in Sandus and also to further the goals set forth by the Philia Policy. Citizens and “Sandum-aligned” people alike can register for control of a specific region in the server. However, to abide by the Socialist society and laws of the State of Sandus, private ownership is forbidden; instead, public ownership by the control of a regional official, appointed by the Sôgmô, shall oversee that region’s administration. Central governance shall come from the Sôgmô in this capital region, which is to be called “Kremlum Sandus” after the capital of the State.
Citizen André Sammut has already claimed a region for the advancement of his Sandum sub-culture Volfa. Work has not begun in that region yet.
“This new project does not constitute a claim of Sandus’s”, the Sôgmô explained, “but it does constitute a pragmatic and Realist project with the aim of advancing Sandum culture.” The Sôgmô continued to note how this project will help Sandus discover what sort of architecture it will plan for in the future and plan what sort of nation Sandus shall become in the future. “With this new server, we shall work to rival other micronations which have a server: we will not rival them in the grandeur of our buildings, but rival them in our intention to build a strong culture in terms of the arts, values, and architecture.”
The Socialist nature of Sandus has already been stressed at the Customs House, the first building in the server. The Sôgmô plans to build various temples and monasteries in the capital region, as well, to stress Sandus’s Buddhist philosophy and its ancient Roman and ancient Greek culture. “With this server, not only will we strengthen our culture but we will also strengthen the Sandum philosophy and the Sandum Value.”
The Sôgmô is planning on continuing to expand the capital region throughout the night. The Sôgmô’s article planned for the Saturnalia Academic Article release by the Collegio Sacerdae, which has been postponed until XXIV Decembro (24 December), shall be concerned with the micronational building of capitals and this new Sandum project shall feature in the article.
Let’s advance the Sandum culture and philosophy for the betterment of the State!
