In a video and radio address this evening, the Sôgmô, acting in his capacity as Sacra Flameno, has commemorated Lemuria on behalf of the Dharma:

To the Innumberable Buddhas, Dakas, Dakhinis, Teachers, and all spiritual protectors,
May you be called to action when you hear this call from afar for your swift and miraculous blessing.

In the blessings of the Dharma, Sandus has always hoped for a destruction of suffering, recognising all suffering arises from desire, ego, and anger. This past Wednesday, we commemorated the ending of the Great Patriotic War for our 27 million Comrades who perished in that war. Now, with no regard for our ego or desire, may we commemorate the past lives of all sentient beings so as to work for the ending of suffering. May all those who have been reborn, in what ever realm or being, realise the peace-giving Dharma. May the Dharma be founded within the State of Sandus and may we, with the blessing of all spiritual guides of the Dharma, continue to strive for its foundation within Sandus. May the blessing of the Dharma radiate from the Buddha in le Palaso d’Etato like the light of Amitabha, whose infinite light and immeasurable radiance destroys all suffering. May the Dharma liberate all sentient beings and may our State and this Collegio Sacerdae be a vessel for the Dharma.

May all sentient beings come to realise the nature of the Dharma and its Truth; may all sentient beings come to cross the ocean of Dukkha and land their feet firmly in Nirvana, reaching ultimate peace. May no ego, anger, or desire come from this Lemuria and may we, as Sandum citizens and faithful followers of the end of suffering, may we firmly uphold the Dharma within our State.

May we continue in our prayers in grief for those who have died and been reborn; may our laments resonate within them peace and the privilege of the Dharma as pacifier of suffering. May our prayers continue on for twenty-four hours, until next evening.
