Io Saturnalia, Sandum Citizens!
Dear Sandum Citizens, Party Comrades and Esteemed Allies of Our State, it is a grand honour to be with you on this the Winter Solstice, Die Natalis Sol Invictus and Saturnalia! Today is a grand day as our entire state will be going to the polls today, electing a Representative to this office and — with hope — re-electing this office to serve another year. The results of the election will be presented this evening at around 20:00 GMT-5 if all results are in by then. Today is an important day as yesterday the State witnessed the Majesties as well, marking two years since the re-affirmation of Sandum independence from the Democratic People’s Republic of Erusia.
However, I would like to congratulate and award the Member class of the Most Honourable Order of the Throne of Sandus to M. André Sammut MOTS. He has served Sandus faithfully both as a citizen and as an advisor to this Office over the past few months; his attentiveness and his intelligence has opened for Sandus new doors as we re-evaluate our state and how we can continue to advance it. Gratias tibi ago, Civilo Sammut.
