Ave, Sandum Citizens!
Each equinox and solstice, this office is tasked with identifying three individuals, both foreign and domestic, to award the Most Honourable Order of the Throne of Sandus to. It is a progressive award, where all recipients must begin at the “Member” status and work their way up to end at the “Elder” status. The award is given to anyone whom the Sôgmô believes has worked for a long time for the betterment of Sandus, and this equinox’s recipients are just that: they have worked with and for Sandus for the longest time and in several possible ways. They welcomed Sandus into the community as Sandefreistikhan and welcomed us into the GUM. By accepting us into the GUM, they have helped this state in many ways, especially by granting this office the ability to move and distance itself from unprofessional and un-serious micronationalism. This state and government is eternally grateful to these individuals:
- Robert Lethler — who has always been a friend and ally of Sandus and mentored the Sôgmô in secessionist micronationalism; he has always looked out for the best interests of our state and always made his intentions known to us concerning our State. Robert Lethler, eotae sumus gratiae.
- Jacob Tierney — who has always been a friend and ally of Sandus, even in times of absence; he has looked out for the best interests of our state and government and has always discussed issues of importance, both foreign and domestic, in a rational state. Jacob Tierney, eotae sumus gratiae.
- Alexander Reinhardt — who has always been a friend and ally of Sandus and who advised us in the St.Charlian Commonwealth, that government of our history; he has defended Sandus when the words and actions of our enemies were over-bearing. Alexander Reinhardt, eotae sumus gratiae.
