Veritum Sandus is the national and official newspaper of the State of Sandus, and means “the Truth of Sandus” in an old Sandum constructed language. Veritum Sandus has a long life in reporting and has existed since 7 November 2009. It was created under the People’s State of Sandus regime (July to December 2009) to promote understanding and activity among Sandum citizens on the duties and actions of government.
Veritum Sandus is owned, operated, and managed by the Office of the Sôgmô from the Palace of State, Kremlum Sandus Province, Sandus. Veritum Sandus is the official journal and national register of the State of Sandus, as well as the leading newspaper in Sandus. The views written herein are the official views of the Central People’s Government of the State of Sandus, unless otherwise specified. Veritum Sandus has been tasked with the publishing of State laws and policies as directed by the Office of the Sôgmô. Private reporting and editorials by individual Sandum citizens reflect their own views, not necessarily those of the Central People’s Government, and are made upon the right to freedom of expression and of the press. In the archives of Veritum Sandus, you will discover nearly 350 articles dedicated to a variety of events, policies, and programs in Sandus.
Veritum Sandus is the leading and national newspaper of the State of Sandus. From November 2009 to May 2012, Veritum Sandus was the sole newspaper of Sandus; however, since May 2012, multiple newspapers and official journals for cooperatives have formed in addition to Veritum Sandus. These newspapers are irregularly maintained and less published than Veritum Sandus. Here are those newspapers:
Voice of Sandus — since 19 May 2012, the official journal of the Citizens’ Communist Party of Sandus, a Socialist-oriented newspaper
Sacerdotium — since 4 Septemeber 2012, the official journal of the Collegium Sacerdotum, a newspaper focused on culture, history, and philosophy
Tellus Sibyl — since 3 October 2013, the official journal of the Tellus Agrarian Cooperative, an irregular and seasonal agricultural-focused newspaper
The Office of the Sôgmô manages the publications and comments on this official journal; comments made in disrespect towards the State or those which are in violation of Sandus’ Realist and Libera politics may be removed at the discretion of the Office of the Sôgmô.
