Virtual Representation

Sandus in SL (ROMA)

Sandus is represented in the virtual world of Second Life by the Sande Amici group, a discussion group organised by the Central People’s Government of Sandus and located in the ROMA estate. Since Novembro MMXIII (November 2013), its headquarters have included various seasonal displays of Sandum culture, politics, and elements of our sovereign state. From Athena’s Day to the Day of Secession, ROMA Sande Amici is a group with the dual mission of making the Sandum culture more public and of expanding the expertise of the Sandum Nation-State to encourage more policies and programs to benefit the citizens of Sandus.

Layout of Sande Amici:
Sande Amici is made in the appearance of a large public space or forum, embracing both an urban setting and elements of the natural world. It is comprised of a central temple to Athena, Sandus’s matron, and a Regia and Curia. You can also sit and relax at Café d’Amicae or along Sande Amici’s look-out overlooking the sea.

Other Sande Amici spaces:
Sande Amici owns spaces in Colonia Nova in the Confederation of Democratic Simulators — a virtual micronation in Second Life — and at the Artisan’s Park in the Purple region. In Colonia Nova, Sande Amici owns a forum shop, the «School of Sandum Sociocultural Work», and a museum that is a joint-venture between Sande Amici and the Consulate of Europa Wulfenbach — a virtual micronation in Second Life. The Sôgmô also owns a private forum in Colonia Nova that is open to friends and citizens of the State of Sandus.

Contact information:
The Sôgmô organises and manages the Sande Amici group on Second Life under the account named Guillaume Mistwalker. To join the group, please open the Search window in the Second Life viewer or press CTRL+F and search “ROMA Sande Amici” under the Groups tab.
