Bureau of the Treasury

The Bureau of the Treasury is the State organ entrusted with the management of two vaults which contain the State of Sandus’s money — the Monetary Vault and the Budgetary Vault —, the Sandum budget, and the printing of Persumae. The Monetary Vault contains the money to which the Sandum currency, the Persumo (plural: Persumae) is pegged at a rate of:

The Budgetary Vault contains the money allocated to the Sandum State budget. To date, this vault contains no money, as all expenses are currently paid for by the Sôgmô. The first Sandum budget was released for the administrative year 2015, though some cuts have since been made to the budget in an effort to save money for use in essential projects, programs, and policies of the State of Sandus.

The amount of wealth contained in the Sandum Monetary Vault and the conversion rates for Persumae to US Dollars can be found here. The amount is audited periodically, typically an irregularly but once every few months.
